2025 Community Awards presentation (Part 1)

MRS MARGARET SANDERS was awarded Outstanding Service to the Community for her charity work for breast cancer, for running the village chip shop for more than 20 years, her kindness and community spirit. Cllr Sue Astill presented the award.

MR KUL BOLA was awarded a runner up for Outstanding Service to the community for being part of the village for 20 years, while running a wonderful and respected shop/service, nothing is too much trouble and always with a smile. Cllr Sarah Eaves presented the award.

It was noted that the remaining 7 awards will be presented at 3pm on carnival day on 14th June 2025.

The winners were congratulated and thanked for attending. Well done everyone.
